Coordinators2inc of Richmond, Virginia offers a comprehensive adoption program for those wishing to build their family through Intercountry adoption. Coordinators2inc Intercountry services for Guatemala include home study preparation, assistance with dossier preparation, coordination with referral of a child, assistance with travel needs, adoptive placement, post-placement supervision, and information/resources specific to a Latin American adoption. We work very closely with competent, professional support staff in Florida and in Guatemala assisting each family in preparation for their journey in Guatemala. Children Available: Age six months and older, siblings available. Children reside predominantly in foster care and privately run orphanages. Children may have developmental delays due to institutional care or nutritional needs, but have good future prognosis. Medical conditions of the children range from relatively healthy to minor, special needs. Photographs and translated medical information on the child are provided. Eligibility Requirements: Single females or married couples may apply. No restrictions regarding number of years married or number of children in the home. No firm age restrictions for singles or couples wishing to adopt. Foreign Program/Agency Fees: Approximately $28,000 for total program, including travel and in-country costs. Length of Process : Wait time between submittal of your dossier to Guatemala and receiving your child is approximately 5 to 8 months. You will receive updated information and photographs regarding your child every other month. Travel Requirements: Parents travel to Guatemala City, Guatemala to finalize the adoption. The average length of stay is 3 days. Post-Placement Requirements : Three post-placement visits within the first six months. |
