Marki Hello! My name is Marki and I am 13 ½ years old. I would describe myself as laid back, nice, and intelligent. I have many hobbies that I enjoy doing such as basketball, football, Marki is a wonderful child who has a lot to offer. He is quite enjoyable and a joy to spend time with. He would consider a one or two parent home. He wants a family that is able to be make the permanent commitment. Marki’s uncle resides in Richmond and he would like to maintain contact with him. Christopher Meet Christopher, an African-American male who is in need of a forever family. He is described as very helpful, talkative, and polite. He also has a wonderful sense of Christopher is an average student who tries hard to please his teachers and school staff. At times Christopher experiences challenges with rules, but does well with redirection. Christopher has a very close relationship with his grandmother, and he will need permission to maintain contact with her. crocheting, and chess. My favorite foods are pizza, chicken, and spaghetti. I love listening to the most recent and popular music. The music I typically listen to is rap. I value the importance of education and I do fairly well in my academics. I want to be a lawyer when I grow up. My favorite subject is history. However my least favorite subject is math. At times I become angry and fight. I am continually working on positive ways to express myself. I am learning to be open and honest about what causes my anger. I understand my role in the family as a child and understand that the adults are in charge. I was asked what makes me happy and I responded people. I was also asked what makes me sad, angry, and frustrated and I responded moving from place to place. I really want a permanent family to welcome me with kind words and frequent hugs. I want to feel safe and apart of a committed and dedicated family. I understand that no parents are perfect, but I also realize that parents should provide unconditional love and trust. 
Hello! My name is Kristen and I am 12 years old. I would describe myself as kind, energetic, and outgoing. I have many hobbies that I enjoy doing such as riding bikes, swimming, art, watching football, and playing basketball. I love listening to the most recent and popular music. My favorite movies are Finding Nemo, Shark Tale, and Madagascar. I want to be a veterinarian when I grow up. I love animals, especially dogs. I have moved several times and lost contact with people that I have loved. This makes me feel sad, angry, and a lot of other things, too. When I would get mad in the past, I would talk to the pets to help me calm down and manage my anger. I am continuing to work on positive ways to express myself. One of my big goals right now is to express my anger safely so that I can communicate what I am feeling and what I need. I was asked about what is important to me and I responded that staying in one place would be important. I really want a permanent family to welcome me with kind words, respect, and friendliness. I am most successful in families where the rules and expectations are clear, and do not change. I have trouble meeting expectations when they are not explained to me, or if sometimes they expect one thing and other times they expect another. I would really like to live in a neighborhood where I can have other kids my age in the area.
